Bangalore is now the 3^rd most populous city in India, thanks to the forever booming IT industry. One more industry that has grown as rapidly as IT in this city is the Food and Beverage Industry. Bangalore is on the cusp of becoming the Restaurant Capital of India with restaurants ranging from breweries, all day breakfast, Deli etc. all catering to different choices. I was in the middle of researching on the F & B industry and felt how little importance we give to the Websites of these restaurants. Though the main focus of restaurateurs is on Food and operations, a great deal of work and passion also goes in designing the websites. Here is a list of 10 very popular restaurants in Bangalore with inspiring website designs.

1. Punjab Grill

Elegant. Classy. Simple. Just like the restaurant itself with the graceful logo of the lion making an impact.The food images make you wanna dive into them. 

2. Smoke House Deli

Smoke house Deli website looks exactly like the restaurant itself. Except its a gamified version of the restaurant (check out their Men & Muffins game). Link to social networking are also drawn in the same theme as the website is made in. Get lucky takes you to a page showcasing Upcoming events. Windmill's website is like Windmill itself. Soothing. Sophisticated. Contemporary. Dedicated pages for each of its floors Jazz Theater, Microbrewery and Terrace helps viewers to visit only the page for the particular restaurant they are interested. The Specials board display on the Homepage is also attractive.

This busy video also rhymes with how bustling this place gets almost everyday. Their page that showcases all their beers gives a very crisp and mouth watering description of their different ales which makes one want to order a few

of them right away. Its a very simple and neat website design.

Everything look the brightest in Dark background which is why Big Brewsky website looks so enticing. Beautiful as the place is, the website just has a big panel with continuously changing beautiful pictures of the brewery. Simple horizontal design and easy navigation is what makes the website tick.

7. Arbor Brewing Company

One of the Happiest places in Namma Bangalooru. The website is parent company website with a dedicated page for the Indian setup. An unpretentious website that boasts of their brew, food and events. 

8. Calvin's

Growing from a small cafe in Koramangala to 5 restaurants in Bangalore, this quick service restaurant is rapidly becoming Bangalore's answer to fresh food with a wide range of desserts to choose from. Their website is also thronged with microscopic images of their burgers, pastas, sandwiches and desserts that makes you wanna dive into them.

9. The Hole in the Wall Cafe

The favorite breakfast and brunch destination of Bangalore, their website is full of colors with great pictures of their food and images of customer testimonials on paper napkins and sticky notes.

Mamagoto is a basic website with great images that make your mouth water.
